Want an event with a difference?
LUXE Murder Mystery
Think Agatha Christie meets Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery.A night of mystery, intrigue, and murder most foul — where you don’t just watch the story unfold, you step into it.That’s the power of immersive entertainment with Gaudion Creative. Tailored for corporate events, conferences, team building, and private celebrations.

In the midst of high workloads, shifting priorities, and remote fatigue...
...these experiences invite your team to reconnect.
How It Works
LUXE Murder Mystery Parties blend scripted scenes with improvised play, guided by professional actors. Guests receive character briefs in advance and step into a world of humour, story, and connection. These events spark laughter, ease, and memories that last.
How LUXE Transforms a Room
These aren’t fictional. They’re real events for real teams and social groups who needed more than another dinner and a DJ. Each story shows how a LUXE Murder Mystery Party didn’t just entertain. It shifted the energy in the room – and it lasted long after the final scene.
Real Events, Real Impact

Case Study: Brisbane Hospital Department
An Event That Transformed the Team
We were booked to run a LUXE Murder Mystery Party for a Brisbane hospital department. Doctors, nurses, and admin staff attended. We didn’t know there were unresolved conflicts within the team. The Challenge
They arrived in full costume. They looked fantastic and had clearly made an effort. They were asked to mingle to get to know each other’s characters. Instead, they stood in a large circle. Little conversation. No laughter. My colleague and I both remarked how unusual this was.The Approach
At Gaudion Creative, we create an immersive space where guests can join in at their own pace. There is no normal. Since our first paid show in 1999, we’ve worked with all personality types. We adapt without pressure. We guide the group gently and let our tried-and-true program do the rest. The Outcome
As we progressed, typical of our murder parties, there was much laughter, all the essential booing and hissing. Along with interesting accents and moustaches falling off at inappropriate occasions. The event unfolded as intended. After we wrapped, they kept celebrating together. The organiser later told me:
“Some of these staff weren’t speaking to each other. There were official complaints on file. I’m gobsmacked. Tonight, those tensions disappeared. They’re talking. They’re connecting. Thank you.”They stayed long after the actors left.

Case Study: Social Event, Hong Kong
A Celebration That Left a Lasting Impression
Booked to run a LUXE Murder Mystery Party for an expat group at the Hong Kong Cricket Club. There were 150 guests from multiple countries. The event was held in the heart of Hong Kong Island, surrounded by the greenery of Wong Nai Chung Gap.The Challenge
The organiser wanted something different. Not a passive dinner party. Not a covers band. She wanted something immersive. We needed to engage a large, diverse group in a shared experience. We worked together to assign characters that suited both extroverts and introverts. Everyone had a role. They arrived in costume. They looked fantastic. The room was ready. The Approach
We used our tried-and-true format. Our actors guided the evening with energy and ease. Participation was encouraged, never forced. The group embraced the story. We supported the flow. The Outcome
There was laughter. Booing. Cheering. Bad accents. Wigs askew and feather boas flailing around dramatically. At one point, our inflatable “dead body” began to deflate. A guest pointed it out. I said, “It’s decomposing.” The room erupted. After we wrapped, the guests stayed on to celebrate. The client later wrote:
“We had a fantastic time! We have been the talk of Hong Kong!”– Jacqui Soden, Hong Kong Cricket ClubA year later, I returned to Hong Kong to run more LUXE Murder Mystery Parties. While crossing a street in Central, I heard my name. A man from the original event came over. “That murder mystery was unforgettable,” he said. He didn’t talk about the plot. He talked about the feeling in the room. The connection. The memory it created.
That’s the magic.
“We had an absolute blast at the LUXE Murder Mystery Party. The staff all thought it was fantastic & your actors were just incredible”
— Kirsty Mailer, Telstra Shop Burleigh Heads
“Thanks Monique, it was a great event and all feedback from our guests have all been positive. Some saying it was the best dinner event they have attended!”
— Jodi Kubler, Coca Cola Amatil
“Thank you so much for just making the LUXEMMP event run so perfectly! You proved you can just Make It Work!”
— Brian Hodge, Conference Online / George P. Johnson, Los Angeles

Storytelling in Business
Turn facts into stories that connect. Think pitching, networking, client meetings, interviews. Now think stories that stick. That move people. That build trust.Story Time:
When Siemens Hearing asked us to avoid the usual speech for their product launch, we crafted an immersive story experience. It was funny, human, and unforgettable. One year later, at the next launch, people were still talking about it. That’s the power of storytelling. And now, we teach others how to use it.
How Storytelling Creates Results
Case Study: Multimedia Production – Asia Pacific Cities Summit
Pitching with Story: From a Casual Idea to a Major Contract
The Challenge
Create a show that would leave a lasting impression on over 2,000 international delegates. Then take it even further for 3,000 delegates the following year. The Approach
A casual lift pitch became a compelling idea: include the Lord Mayor in the production. One week later, we filmed him delivering a bespoke message, which became part of the multimedia component. A year later, another pitch to the Office of the Lord Mayor, this time for a four-day entertainment contract at the Asia Pacific Cities Summit. The Outcome
This became the biggest contract of my career to date and a major milestone for the company. I’ve since shared the story in three Telstra Business Award interviews, becoming a Queensland finalist each time. Out of tens of thousands of applicants, I was one of six.“On behalf of the city of Brisbane, I would like to offer my sincere thanks to you and the Way Out Theatreworks team. The hard work, effort and flexibility of your staff ensured delegates had an enjoyable time and made their trip to Brisbane more memorable. The ‘Welcome to Brisbane’ presentation in particular helped make the 2007 Asia and Pacific Cities Summit a great success.” – Campbell Newman, Brisbane Lord Mayor

Case Study: Personal Mentoring – Coaching Busines
Finding the Story and the Confidence
The Challenge
Verity, an experienced coach, felt stuck. She knew storytelling mattered but didn’t know where to start – or what stories to tell. The Approach
We ran a one-on-one session using clear, structured exercises to surface her key stories and message. Smart questions and real examples helped unlock insights and useful moments from her experience. The Outcome
She left with clarity, confidence, and a clear path forward. Her stories now reflect the real value she brings – told with more ease and impact.
